New Patient Clinic
The partners request that every new patient makes an appointment for a new patient medical check with the practice nurse. This appointment takes approximately fifteen minutes and includes the recording of details relating to your past and present medical history. This information may assist the doctor with any problem you may have whilst waiting for your medical records to arrive from your previous doctor.

Maternity Care
The practice has a weekly antenatal clinic which is run by the midwife. If you are pregnant, your doctor would like to see you early in the pregnancy during normal surgery time. Preferences for your future antenatal, confinement and postnatal care will be discussed at this time.
Well Baby Clinic
This clinic gives the ideal opportunity for children under 5 to be immunised against infectious diseases, and for all parents of children under 5 to see the health visitor, or doctor, about their childs growth and development.
Please note that this clinic is for WELL BABIES and not for feverish or unwell children who should see their doctor at a surgery appointment.
Child Care
Your child will be checked regularly during the first 5 years of his/her life by either a doctor or your health visitor. This also gives you the opportunity to share any concerns you may have. You will be contacted when the checks are due to take place.

Blood Tests
There is a trained healthcare worker (Phlebotomist) available to take blood tests each day. She is based on the ground floor in Billingham Health Centre.

Test Results
Test results can usually be given over the telephone to the patient concerned. Please telephone after 3.00 pm on the day you have been advised that the result is expected, or between 9.30 am and 11.00 am the following morning.

Minor Surgery
The doctors perform small surgical procedures at the surgery under local anaesthetic. For most of the procedures the doctor is assisted by the practice nurse. Please ask at reception for more details.
Counselling
Counselling may be suggested by your doctor for a variety of personal problems, ranging from depression or anxiety to addictions, phobias, stress at work, trouble at home or in a relationship. The practice counsellor is based in the health centre and provides confidential, concentrated support for patients.
Physiotherapist
The GP can make referrals to a hospital physiotherapist who runs weekly clinics at Billingham Forum.
