CHRONIC DISEASE - We provide clinics in treating long-term conditions such as Diabetes, Asthma, COPD - Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, Coronary Heart Disease, Epilepsy, and High Blood Pressure.

MINOR SURGERIES - The practice provides minor operations and joint injections.

SUBSTANCE MISUSE - The practice is happy to accommodate patients with problems related to drug and alcohol misuse. This is supported by an attached key worker from the Addicted Behaviour Service.

WELL PERSON CHECKS - We offer a screening well person examination with the Practice Nurse which includes blood pressure check, weight, and urine testing and lifestyle advice. We also offer CVD risk assessment for the target age group.

WEIGHT MANAGEMENT - We offer advice and support for patients wishing to lose weight.

SMOKING CESSATION - We offer advice and support for patients wishing to stop smoking.

PHYSIOTHERAPY - We can refer to the Local Community Physio Team currently based at Newlife Centre in Low Grange, Billingham.

COUNSELLING/PSYCHOLOGY - We offer a counselling/psychology service for patients who wish to talk about their problems or concerns in order to help resolve them.

CONTRACEPTION - The Practice provides a range of contraceptive services.

CERVICAL SMEAR TESTS - Smear test appointments can be booked with the Practice Nurse. We operate a call and recall system for all our female patients between the ages of 25 and 64.

MATERNITY CARE - Maternity services are based at a local Sure Start and we have a designated practice midwife.

CHILD HEALTH SURVEILLANCE - Full child health surveillance including regular developmental checks and childhood immunisations are available at the practice. The Health Visitor working with the Practice offers support to families with young children.

ROUTINE IMMUNISATION - We provide all primary childhood vaccinations and advise annual comprehensive influenza immunisation to everyone aged 65 or over and to others outside this age group who are in high risk health groups.

TRAVEL HEALTH - We provide a comprehensive travel advice and immunisation.
